1. Project Goal
The project Goal is to Improve quality of life among the vulnerable people.
2. Immediate Objective
The immediate objective (purpose) of the project is to improve livelihood of 450 families in Khijikati, Khijiphalate, Khijichandeshwori, Ragani and Pokali VDCs of Okhaldhunga district and Padampur VDC of Chitwan district.
3. Indicators:
- Agricultural productivity increased by 20% of the project area
- 100 trained people employed or self-employed
- Market linkage between community and market strengthened
- 1800 children of the project ares got access to improved education
- Care and Support for 400 children and their families have increased in the CSP area.
4. Expected Results:
- Increased agricultural productivity
- Strengthened institutional facilities
- Improved care and support of children and families for child development
5. Activities
- Provide trainings to local groups and volunteers
- Provide trainings on appropriate farming on different crops, livestock, poultry farming
- Provide training on occupational skill development
- Provide revolving supports for farming and micro enterprises
- Provide kitchen gardening training
- Support local government schools with trainings, technical support and material support
- Awareness on mainstreaming issues and contemporary issues
- Run Child Sponsorship (Development) and Child Clubs
